TDI, The National Tourism Development and Investment Co, Ltd was established and registered in Yemen. It is a Tourism Business Services Company supporting foreign as well as local investors in the Area of Tourism.

Tourism contribution to the world economy and word trade has been growing and contributing to the local and global economies, as one of the major service sectors, that covers approximately one third of the world trade services. Tourism is considered the largest and fastest growing industry worldwide, and is a major service that promotes growth. Tourism is the number one service worldwide in creating permanent employments as well as temporary jobs, a source for hard currencies, for investment opportunity, for attracting foreign capitals and investments.

Tourism Industry Services include Hotels, Resorts, Restaurants, Catering Services, Car Rentals, Transportation, Travel and Tours, Recreational Clubs, Tour Guides, as well as some other services such as: Communications, recreations, Cultures, Sports, etc… All these services are categorized by the World Tourism Organization, among others, as tourism activities, and there are as many as 140 activities that are associated with tourism.
